As part of our Building Division under Community and Economic Development, this position that serves as the first line contact for the City’s citizens and customers at the front counter. Individuals in this position perform a variety of routine and complex administrative and technical duties/tasks to support the permitting, land use, licensing, code enforcement and administrative functions of the organization, including but not limited to processing payments, answering and directing phone calls, preparing correspondence and other documents as directed, maintaining meeting calendars, logging and routing code enforcement complaints, and responding to inquiries from the public.

The position is responsible for providing timely, courteous and effective assistance to customers by answering general questions, processing permit applications, preparing and routing correspondence, issuing permits, scheduling inspections, and assisting with code compliance.
