Free internship postings in 2019 for city members

We know challenges lie ahead with significant workplace turnover. Inspiring and educating people new to the workforce about the benefits of working in local government will help our organizations and communities thrive. AWC JobNet is committed to investing in our future workforce and supporting the next generation on their path of public service.

To encourage our cities to use AWC JobNet to recruit new talent, all internship postings on AWC JobNet are free for city members until 12/31/19.

We’ve reached out to higher education schools and MPA programs across Washington state to raise awareness about AWC JobNet so that students can maximize its benefits in their career development.

Together let’s make AWC JobNet the place where fresh talent begins their journey in serving through local government.
