Police Officer - Entry Level job in Union Gap

The City of Union Gap is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Police Officer - Entry Level. Applicants must be a United States citizen, able to read and write the English language, have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, and be 21 years of age at the time of appointment. Must possess or be able to obtain by the time of hire a valid Washington State driver's license without suspension or revocation in the State. Must be in good health, of good moral character, have a good credit rating, and possess a good personality, judgment and aptitude. Height and weight must be proportionate, must be physically fit and capable of arduous duty. Felony convictions and disqualifying criminal histories within the past 7 years are not allowed. Salary ranges from $5,811.31 to $7,131.09 per month DOQ, plus benefits.
