The Town of Garfield, WA seeks Public Works Assistant. (Located in Whitman County) http://www.garfieldwa.com. Requirements include experience in construction, repair, and maintenance of water, sewer, streets, and storm drainage systems including the operation of related maintenance Proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Also required is abcurrent WA State Driver’s license. 1st Aid/CPR card and Pesticide Application License obtained within 6 months of hire. CDL Class B within 1 year of hire. Additional certificates needed to obtain within 1 year of hire are a WDM1 Water Works Operator Certification and an Operator in Training Wastewater Certificate. Salary commensurate with experience.
