JOB OPPORTUNITY AWWD is accepting applications to fill a Temporary Building/Grounds Service Worker position. This position is based out of AWWD’s Maintenance and Operations Department in Lynnwood, Washington. This position will remain open until filled, with the first review of applicants on Thursday, February 25, at 8:00 am. The successful candidate will support regular district employees by assisting with cleaning facilities, ensuring cleaning and building supplies are available when needed, emptying trashcans and disposing of recycling, performing minor maintenance or repairs and assisting with outdoor grounds maintenance when needed. The temporary assignment will end after 3 months or less. This position requires any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the job. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be work experience in cleaning and maintaining offices and grounds as well as experience with various grounds maintenance tools. A High School Diploma or GED and a Valid Washington State Driver’s License are required.
