The IT Support Specialist will support daily operations of the city’s computer and telecommunication networks, provide end user customer support, technical assistance and routine maintenance and related service requests for desktops, servers, software applications, operating systems, network hardware, connectivity, and peripheral, telephony and mobile devices. Ensures network backups, installs hardware and software, diagnoses, and troubleshoots problems and determines corrective action. Performs research and implements solutions as necessary while prioritizing and escalating services to higher levels as needed. Serves as first contact for users experiencing computer problems.
