As the next Human Resources Director you will influence and inspire change that drives our organization toward a workplace that reflects the diversity of our community; establish universal accessibility to services, programs and facilities for all; ensure safety and security of employees and the public; lead through crisis; and support foundational HR services for all employees and all departments. As a member of the Executive Management Team, the Human Resources Director plays a key role in building trust through collaborative relationships, and participates in strategic planning as a business advisor and subject matter expert in alignment with our vision, mission, values, and service impact to the community. The Human Resources department is comprised of 36 talented and passionate team members, engaged in perfecting our service delivery, strategic alignment with business partners, and anticipating needs of customers across the organization. The FY21 budget is set at $3.3 million in the General Fund, and $5.5 million in Risk Management. As the largest municipal agency in Idaho, our current organization consists of over 1,220 general team members, approximately 550 public safety contract team members, and 500-700 temporary and seasonal team members.
