CITY OF WEST RICHLAND
PLANNER
(Associate Planner or Senior Planner)

West Richland is looking to hire one applicant. Depending upon qualifications the position will be Associate Planner or Senior Planner.

This position will have a heavy focus on current planning/plan review; research, prepare and present staff reports to the Planning Commission and City Council; and facilitate projects to promote economic development.

West Richland is a growing City with various development opportunities. An ambitious candidate will be able to make their mark by creatively finding ways to get a project to ‘yes’ while complying with laws, regulations and codes.

Full Time/ Exempt
$4,500 - $7,250 mth DOQ

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university in planning or closely related field and 2+ years’ experience. Master’s degree and GIS experience preferred.
