JOB SUMMARY:

The Wastewater Treatment Plant Maintenance Supervisor supervises and performs the planning and coordinating of the installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of mechanical and electrical equipment, instrumentation, and industrial process control systems associated with stormwater, wastewater and industrial wastewater treatment facilities, collection systems and pump stations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Requires successful completion of a vocational training program in an industrial electro/mechanical apprenticeship program OR journey level competency in electrical, mechanical and/or plumbing/pipe fitting trades; AND four (4) years progressively responsible maintenance experience in an industrial process industry, two of which MUST be in a supervisory or lead worker position.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND/OR CERTIFICATES:

Must possess a valid Washington State Driver’s License and obtain a Basic First Aid Certificate within six (6) months of appointment. Washington State Electrical License 01 (EL01) or equivalent industrial electrician license is required. A Washington State Group III Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator or Wastewater Collection Specialist III Certification is desirable.
