JOIN REDMOND!:

The Technology and Information Department is looking for a Senior Programmer Analyst to join our Enterprise Data Management Team. The City of Redmond's Enterprise Data Management Program evangelizes data as a strategic asset and supports a strong culture of information literacy and city-wide data-driven decision making. The EDM team is responsible for City of Redmond's Enterprise Data Management Program which establishes and delivers data governance, system architecture, analytic tools and training that enables the business to transform their Data from Information to Knowledge and ultimately Wisdom while ensuring data integrity, confidentiality and availability.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position working Monday through with telecommuting options.
• Work with Finance and HR to produce data analytic solutions for Microsoft D365, Dynamics AX 2012 and Kronos.
• Develop robust ETL and data stream processes supporting data transformation, data mapping, data structures, data cleansing, metadata, dependency and workload management using SSIS, Power Shell, Python, C#, T-SQL, etc.
• Analyze, design, develop and maintain end-user reports.
• Design, develop, test, implement and maintain computer software and related databases.
• Lead the development and documentation of technical standards and processes.
• Develop end user training programs and user documentation.
• Maintain client relationships, working with them to resolve issues in a timely fashion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Five (5) years of educational and/or occupational experience in all phases of the software.
• Three (3) years of systems development experience in the same or similar development environment (application architecture or toolset).
• Two (2) years of experience with programming to relational database systems.
• Skills in the design and development of web and client/server applications.
• Skills in relational database design, data retrieval languages and access protocols.
• Knowledge of information security concepts and standards.
• Knowledge of the systems development life cycle.
• This position is currently covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX2012, Microsoft D365, Eden Payroll, Kronos and/or other HR/Finance Systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Knowledge of Microsoft programming stack including .Net, C# Power Shell.
• Experience building data solutions in the Microsoft Azure Cloud using Data Factory, Data Lakes, Synapse Analytics, and the Microsoft Power Platform.
