Job Summary

Our diverse workplace includes maintenance, construction, property management, finance and administration, and other operations staff. This is a new position reporting to the Risk Manager.
Essential Functions
• Plans, develops, coordinates and evaluates a comprehensive employee wellness program directed toward reducing health risks and improving health awareness.
• Lead and direct the Virus Response Team (VRT) in developing workplace prevention practices, activities and provide operational guidance for pandemic (COVID19) or community related wellness response, including mitigation plan, assessments, infection control management and resource recommendations.
• Creates educational materials, collects statistical data, promotes and advocates for wellness activities including smoking cessation, weight loss, mindfulness, health screening and exercise programs.
• Maintains partnerships and coordinates activities with departments and internal committees to provide information and provide specialized trainings for agency employees.
• Coordinates health fairs, health screenings and various health-related workshops. Assists staff to complete health assessment plans to determine health and wellness needs.
