The City of Bellingham is looking for a Payroll Lead to join their team! As the Payroll Lead, you would be responsible for processing all phases of a semi-monthly payroll cycle. Responding to technical payroll questions, explaining policies and procedures and resolving issues. Processing payroll adjustments; calculating and manually preparing retroactive pay adjustments, overtime adjustments, and employee terminations. Entering, processing and auditing confidential payroll data; maintaining confidential employee records. Ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations, City policies, Collective Bargaining Agreements and departmental policies and procedures. The current full salary range for this position is $4,720/month - $5,737/month. Placement within the range is based on qualifications and professional experience in accordance with City policy.
