The Department
The Finance Department provides vital services to internal employees, program participants, outside investors, and a wide array of other stakeholders.
The Position
The Finance Manager is a key member of the Finance Department. This position will supervise a staff of four and will primarily be responsible for managing the accounting operations for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program and the Greenbridge program, submission of the Public Housing Operating Subsidy, and will perform complex skilled technical work developing and reporting on financial and operating metrics for multiple areas of KCHA. They will also lead their team in process improvement efforts and other key initiatives in support of KCHA’s mission.
Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager include:
• Special projects surrounding the design, development, reporting, and analysis of financial and operating metrics
• Preparation and review of the HUD annual operating fund subsidy filing
• Grant Accounting
• Manage Section 8 Accounting Operations
