The City is currently looking to fill the position of Police Support Associate Based on Department established priorities, this position performs a variety of records and clerical duties for the Police Department. Performs work involving data verification, data input, maintenance and control on a daily basis of complex and highly confidential records. Work also involves assisting in a variety of other departmental activities such as processing police reports produced by all divisions of the Police Department, processeing requests and providing information to the public at the Records counter, processeing requests for concealed weapons purchase, transfers, permits and licenses, criminal history information, case reports, accident reports, and any legal requests from citizens or other criminal justice agency. Assists City Prosecutor and Court on a daily basis with reference to case reports and subpoenas, trials, arraignment calendars, hearings, and other additional contacts.
