The City of Marysville is seeking a prosecutor to represent the city in misdemeanor cases, bench and jury trials, pre-trials, arraignments, sentencing, traffic violations, and other misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor cases as well as in civil matters such as forfeitures, dangerous dog violations, code enforcement, nuisance, and other civil infractions. Marysville is one of the fastest growing cities in the state with nearly 70,000 residents. It combines proximity to the Seattle metropolitan area with outdoor recreational opportunities in Puget Sound and the North Cascades. The city provides a full range of municipal services to its residents and is currently undertaking major transportation projects, a new civic campus, and a waterfront revitalization project on the Snohomish River.
