Come join our awesome Recreation staff! The city anticipates hiring up to 5 Summer Day Camp Counselor positions through this recruitment. Summer Day Camp will be held June 21 through August 27. Interviews will be held the week of April 5th. Day Camp Counselors perform duties related to specific events or programs only. Minimal or no special training is necessary. This position is required to adhere to performance standards and dress code. This position involves a great deal of contact with the public and therefore requires good attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. Qualifications include: A combination of education, experience, and training that indicates the ability to successfully perform the essential functions of the position listed above.Applicants must be at least 16 years of age or older.Possession of or the ability to obtain, and maintain throughout employment, a valid Washington State driver's license.Possession of a current basic First Aid and CPR (in infant, child and adult) certification card is required at time of employment.
