Engineering Technician job in Camas

The City of Camas is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Engineering Technician. The individual selected for this position will perform technical level duties in support of the City’s engineering and capital improvement projects; and to provide information and assistance to contractors, developers, engineers and the general public on the City’s engineering services and activities. The individual will perform construction field inspections in all weather conditions and is mainly in the field with occasional office duties. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. The position is represented by the Camas Public Employees Association and is eligible for a full benefits package.

Candidates for this position shall have:
• Education equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by college level coursework in engineering or a related field
• Two years of increasingly responsible technical engineering experience
• Valid driver’s license
