Description

The City Center Program Manager (CCPM) is responsible for facilitating development of Lynnwood's City Center Sub-Area Plan. The individual assigned to this position will coordinate efforts to redevelop the City Center as a mixed use, pedestrian friendly and transit-oriented area.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Facilitating redevelopment projects, both private and public; acting as the liaison between various stakeholders.
  • Serving as coordinator for development of Sound Transit's Lynnwood City Center light rail station. This involves coordination of activities of a multi-disciplinary team, project coordination, and station area planning related to urban design, public space and multimodal connectivity.
  • Coordinating the implementation of the City Center Plan and supporting policies.  Identification and implementing potential changes to the plan and policies as may be needed.
  • Facilitating private and public projects; pursuing related grant opportunities.
  • Conducting outreach to key stakeholders regarding implementation and development activities and opportunities taking place in the City Center.
  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase awareness of development opportunities in the City Center.
  • Identifying and pursing partnership opportunities between the City and other stakeholders to further implementation of the City Center Plan, and the preparation and administration of development agreements associated with those projects.
  • Coordinating an interdepartmental City Center work group focused on the implementation of the City Center.
  • Managing consultant service contracts related to the City Center implementation.
