City Manager job in Sunnyside

Sunnyside is seeking an experienced manager who has demonstrated he/she is also an outstanding leader, and who is ready for a new challenge! The City Council wants someone to work with it as a partner, a supporter and a trusted advisor. The individual will be very open, approachable, and believe strongly in transparency.

The individual will have demonstrated skills in management, finance, and development. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, public policy or related field and five to ten years of increasingly responsible experience as a senior level government or private sector executive. A master’s degree is preferred but not required. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

The salary range is $155,000 to $185,000, plus benefits. The actual salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
