*** ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (Sanitary Sewer) ***
Clark Regional Wastewater District is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician!
Ideal candidate will have the following:
- Associate Degree or Certificate in Civil Engineering Technology or similar field.
- Three years of relevant civil engineering experience. One year of directly related experience in development projects.
- Proficiency in CAD, GIS, and Bluebeam preferred.
- Understand and interpret District standard specifications and details for design and construction of sanitary sewers, including pumping stations.
- Understand and interpret WSDOT Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction.
- Understand construction documentation and processes.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
- Ability to read, interpret, understand, apply, and enforce construction plan requirements and District Design standards.
- Ability to apply mathematics to interpret data from record drawings, construction drawings, and maps.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information and processes to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to effectively communicate with the public, co-workers, supervisors and subordinates.
- Read, interpret, apply, and explain relevant federal, state, and local laws, codes, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards as they apply to wastewater collection systems.

- Review construction plans for extending sanitary sewer
Monthly salary range: $5,721 to $7,479 Starting monthly salary (DOQ): $5,721 to $6,541
