The Town of Odessa is seeking to hire a Deputy Clerk-Treasurer to join our team. Odessa has a population of 900, and is a very small rural farming town located 40 miles Northeast of Moses Lake, and 75 miles West of Spokane.Entry level or Experienced are encouraged to apply. The Deputy Clerk-Treasurer performs work in support of Town Clerk/Treasurer operations, functions and programs. Performs a wide variety of routine and complex clerical and administrative support work. Performs technical and accounting work in maintaining the fiscal records systems of the Town. Acts as Town Clerk in the absence of the Town Clerk-Treasurer. Exercise of independent judgment and initiative is necessary, as is assisting in planning, organizing and implementing policies that affect the entire Town. Assists other Departments as necessary.
