Permit Technician job in Pasco

DUTIES: Performs work in various City construction permit issuing functions and related public service operations.

REQUIREMENTS: (Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the job.):

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Two (2) years of increasingly responsible clerical experience involving data entry and customer service, preferably in municipal government and/or the construction or building permit field.
• Current ICC certification as Permit Technician or must be acquired prior to completion of probationary period.
• Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish).
