Open until filled, first review will be Monday, September 16, 2019. The City of Bothell is excited to announce that we are recruiting for a North Sound RADAR Program Manager! In this position, you will manage Mental Health Professionals shared by the five local "North Sound" jurisdictions (Bothell, Kirkland, Kenmore, Shoreline and Lake Forest Park) and all aspects of the North Sound's Response, Awareness, De-escalation and Referral program, or RADAR; a program designed to give police access to Mental Health Professionals who can connect individuals with behavioral health needs to resources; thereby, reducing the need for police and other emergency services. In addition to program management, you will also co-respond as needed with officers for higher profile cases, complex cases, evaluating navigators' performance or during understaffed days. This position is currently grant-funded and approved as a limited term position through December 31, 2020; at which time it will be re-evaluated. This position is required to pass a police background investigation which includes criminal history review, psychological and physical exams, as well as polygraph testing.
