Description

King County Metro, with offices in Seattle Washington, is the nation’s 9th largest transit agency. We are building a new group of expert strategists to continue our conversion of 1400 buses and similar sized fleet of light and medium duty vehicles to zero emission by 2035. This group will identify our strategic investments in electric vehicles and battery charging infrastructure and will coordinate those projects with operating divisions across Metro.

Utilities and Strategic Agreements- Project Program Manager IV, Salary: $100,121 to $126,921 Annually. This position will help set the strategic direction and advance Metro's conversion to a zero-emission fleet by 2035 by leading negotiating teams and developing agreements with power utilities and other strategic partners.

Opening Summer 2022:

Supervisor of the Capital ZE Strategy Unit- Annual salary to $164,000. Supervise group of five strategists, ensure that capital projects critical for electrification for charging infrastructure, technology and fleet purchases are coordinated across portfolios and with operating divisions.

ZE Knowledge leader- Annual salary to $142,000. Expert in transit industry electrification standards and transition activities. Continue strong relationships with industry organizations and peer transit agencies.

Data and Technology Project Program Manager III- Annual salary to $113,000. Design and analysis of electric vehicle performance data to inform strategic plans and capital project designs, and support coordination of information technology development with other zero emission capital investments.

Project Program Manager II- Annual salary to $113,000. Unit support such as communication structures, work programs, documentation organization, events, etc.
