Custodian job in SeaTac

This position is open concurrently to the City of SeaTac employees and the general public at this time. This position is overtime eligible and a member of the AFSCME Collective Bargaining Unit.

The City of SeaTac is seeking a custodian to independently maintain assigned offices, restrooms, and City facilities in a clean and orderly manner; and perform assigned duties and tasks as scheduled. The position will work under the direction of the Facilities Manager or Facilities Maintenance Worker 2/Lead.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Three (3) years practical custodial building maintenance work experience required.
• Experience performing minor, non-technical repairs to buildings and fixtures preferred.
• A combination of experience and training that provides the candidate with the knowledge and skills to perform the job will be considered.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Valid Washington State driver's license. A three-year driving record abstract must be submitted prior to hire.
