The City of SeaTac is seeking an Associate Planner who will work under the direction of the Planning Manager, and perform a variety of professional planning duties involving long range and current planning to ensure compliance with various city, state and federal ordinances and regulations. The incumbent will provide technical expertise, data collection, analysis and report preparation related to comprehensive planning and development review, and assist in the development and revision of the Comprehensive Plan, zoning and subdivision codes. The Associate Planner will focus on long range planning activities. Responsibilities will primarily include: conduct and assist in long range land use planning activities, such as updates to the Comprehensive Plan, subarea plans, development regulations, community outreach, and supporting all City departments with revisions to the City's development regulations.
