Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Emergency Management and Safety Coordinator position develops and coordinates the City's Emergency Management and Emergency Preparedness and City Safety programs. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, providing consultation and technical guidance on City safety programs and initiatives; developing and organizing safety compliance trainings; providing assistance with safety policies and/or procedures; oversight of City activities in all phases of emergency management planning, mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery; and performing grant, contract, or budgetary research and analysis.
