Description

The City is looking for an Information Services Technician to fill a limited term position.  This position is needed for COVID-19 Recovery and completion of upgrades and projects that were delayed due to COVID-19.

What will this person do?

  • Provide customer service and technical support functions for the City's Information Systems (IS) communication systems, computers, and users
  • Install, configure and repair computer hardware and software
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems, document solutions
    Maintain computer systems, desktops, printers/scanners, and peripherals

What does this person need to be successful?

  • Two (2) years of computer support experience
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with others
  • A passion for the work; including, networked environments, peripheral devices, and web technologies
  • A desire to seek knowledge and a willingness to learn and grow
