Reporting to the Director of Public Works (PW) , the PW Operations Manager is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing a variety of complex activities which include management, administration, coordination, direction and guidance for the Operations Division which is comprised of the following sections: Water Utility Operations, Wastewater Utility Operations, Transportation Maintenance, Parks Maintenance, Equipment Rental, Facilities Maintenance, Safety, and Administrative Services. In addition to ensuring quality service delivery to the public, this position is also responsible for strategic management functions which include, but are not limited to, preparing and managing the comprehensive and annual work program for the Operations Division, ensuring the implementation and operation of maintenance management systems, and developing and preparing the annual budget for the division. This position may occasionally act in the absence of the Director of Public Works. First review of applications will occur on May 26, 2021.
