The City of DuPont seeks a talented Fire Chief to lead the Fire Department and oversee activities and operations. This position will develop and implement policy and procedures, plan long-range strategies and programs to provide appropriate levels of fire education, public education, emergency medical and firefighting services to the City. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who is both forward-thinking and community-minded. This person has strong interpersonal skills, excellent judgment, and the ability to lead, motivate, influence, and guide staff and customers.
