The City of Moses Lake is accepting applications for a Water Quality Specialist in the Water Department. This position performs duties related to the management of water quality for the City of Moses Lake’s water system. Duties of this position include: Installs, inspects, repairs, and replaces backflow assemblies; maintains related records; contacts property owners regarding cross connection requirements and ensures requirements are met; maintains backflow assembly and meter records; monitors well house operations; troubleshoots and performs maintenance on well pumps, chlorinators, injector pumps, etc.; prepares and submits the Water Use Efficiency Report; prepares and submits the annual Water Quality Report. This is a full-time position.
