WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR

The City of West Richland is looking for a highly motivated person to join our team as Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. This position is responsible for the continuous operation of the City’s wastewater treatment plant and industrial treatment facility. The ideal candidate can collaborate effectively with others, make sense of complex and contradictory information, solves problems effectively, ensures accuracy, and manages details.

•  $4,500 - $6,500 month DOQ

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years’ experience in the operation/maintenance of wastewater treatment plant.
• Washington State CDL Class A with tanker endorsement
• Sewer Treatment Plant Operator II Certification
• Flagger Certification

Preferred

• Wastewater Collections I Certificate
• Pesticide Application Certification.

For the right candidate, the City will pay for the training, test and license of a CDL Class A license.
