Description

Northshore Utility District seeks a qualified and motivated engineer to manage the design and construction of Capital Improvement Projects for water distribution and wastewater collection system projects. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications of either the Engineer or Senior Engineer job descriptions will be considered for this open position.

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for candidates who meet the qualifications of the Engineer position is $6,177 to $8,278 per month, with a starting salary dependent on qualifications.

The salary range for candidates who meet the qualifications of the Senior Engineer position is $7,569 to $10,144 per month, with a starting salary dependent on qualifications.

Requirements:
To be considered for the Engineer position candidates must possess:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering,
• Engineer-in-training certification, and
• A minimum of two years of employment experience in a civil engineering related position.

Candidates who possess the following would be considered for employment as a Senior Engineer:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Current Washington State Professional Civil Engineering Registration, and
• A minimum of eight years of employment experience in the civil engineering field with a minimum of five years direct experience in the wastewater collection and/or potable water supply industries.
