THE POSITION: PSRC is seeking a Senior Transportation Analyst to perform a variety of tasks and activities that support the implementation of transportation projects in the central Puget Sound region. The position will provide leadership and support to the Transportation Planning Division, with a particular focus on the regional Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and the delivery of transportation investments funded by PSRC’s Federal Transit Administration and Federal Highway Administration funds. The position will be responsible for a range of qualitative and quantitative work. This work will include, but is not limited to the following tasks: • Reviewing and analyzing detailed project information, including current funding, project scopes and schedules;
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have: • Knowledge of, and experience with, federal and state transportation funding programs.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: • Bachelor’s degree in planning, civil engineering, or related field.
