The Position: Executive Assistant The Alderwood Water & Wastewater District is accepting applications from qualified applicants for the position of Executive Assistant. The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing professional level administrative support to the General Manager and Board of Commissioners through a variety of complex and often strictly confidential administrative duties. The successful candidate for this position will have at least five years of progressively responsible experience in an executive support position and possess a High School Diploma or GED. The position requires the incumbent to maintain a high level of professionalism in business correspondence. Knowledge of the Washington State Core records retention regulations and record keeping/management will be imperative. This position requires using computer and applicable software applications, including Microsoft Office suite, with speed and accuracy. Representative duties for this position include, but are not limited to, preparing agendas, packets, notices, presentations, minutes and resolutions for Board of Commissioner and Clearview Water Supply Agency meetings; takes, prepares, distributes and maintains meeting minutes for District meetings; maintains and updates website for Executive department; assists Executive Management and Commissioners’ activities by providing confidential administrative and staff support; works on a variety of assignments and special projects; plans and coordinates internal and external meetings; serves as custodian of the District’s official records and prepares reports, summaries, correspondence and memoranda. The incumbent of this position will be expected to work evening hours for Board meetings on a regular basis and flex hours, if necessary, to remain within the scheduled work week. The pay range for this position is $31.14 - $41.72 per hour ($64,764 - $86,784 annually), dependent upon experience and qualifications.
