Lake Meridian Water District invites all qualified applicants to apply for the position of a Water Service Technician III or IV position. The District is located in the Lake Meridian area and serves a population of 22,000 people with 6,000 connections. The Water Service Technician III or IV reports directly to the Operations Manager. Under general supervision of the Operations Manager skilled work is performed in the installation, operation, maintenance and repair of the District's water system. The (WST-III and IV) are the advanced journey levels in the District’s field employee classification. This is a journey level position that requires technical expertise. Incumbents routinely exercise independent judgment in the performance of duties and may be called on to train lower level Water Service Technicians. Other areas of responsibility are the water quality program, water treatment plants and scada system. The Water Service Technician III and IV serves on a 24-hour duty roster and ensures effective and reliable water service is provided to customers throughout the District. *Water Service Technician III salary range is $5860.36 - $7207.50 DOE plus benefits package. *Water Service Technician IV salary range is $6759.84 - $8313.75 DOE plus benefits package.
