Payroll & Benefits Specialist job in Buckley

Under the general supervision of the Finance Director, the Payroll & Benefits Specialist has responsibility to plan, organize, support and process all aspects of district payroll functions. This work includes, but is not limited to: day-to-day pay processing in an automated systems environment; maintaining payroll system data, internal controls and records; working collaboratively with other governmental agencies such as the IRS, Washington State Department of Retirement Systems, Department of Labor, Department of Social and Health Services, Health Care Authority, etc.; gathering and disseminating pay-related information; serving as a resource to directors, administrators, staff and employee groups for sharing information on compensation, benefits and various leaves.
