Reference Librarian job in Burlington

Under the direct supervision of the Library Director this position performs professional library services.  This position provides assistance to the public in response to information, reference, and reader’s advisory questions.  This position selects materials and maintains designated library collections, coordinates programs, and provides instruction in the use of library resources.  This position includes evening and weekend work.

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Master’s Degree in Library Science required.
• Washington State Librarian’s Certification required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Minimum four years college, experience in public library preferred.
• Must possess a valid Washington State driver’s license.
• Spanish language skills desirable.
