Work is performed in an outdoor environment working on city streets, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, parks and buildings. Working in seasonal heat, cold, and all other weather conditions. Exposure to agricultural products, dirt, fumes, and traffic also occur. Equipment utilized includes large trucks to one and one-half ton, standard construction/landscaping equipment, such as backhoe, street sweeper, vactors, tractors, riding and push mowers, blowers, chippers, pressure washers, and hand tools. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Requires one year experience in public works type construction, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience; must possess a valid Washington State Driver’s License with a driving record acceptable to the City’s insurance carrier. Must obtain a certified flagging card within 6 months of employment.Salary Range: $19.58-25.79/hr plus benefits.
