Under the direction of the Accounting Manager,prepares financial statements; performs professional accounting duties related to the City's general ledger and subsystems; interprets/applies complex rules and regulations governing a full range of municipal accounting activities; provides technical support for payroll and purchasing functions; and establishes and recommends internal controls for assigned functions within the City's accounting systems.
