The Animal Services Field Officer II is responsible for investigating and resolving citizens complaints relative to (but not limited to) animal nuisances, violations of ordinances, inhumane treatment, property damage, animal bites to humans, and related animal control problems/concerns. Duties include patrol of assigned City and County area; enforcement of animal related ordinances, codes and statutes; dissemination of information regarding ordinance requirements to animal owners; sale of animal licenses; issuing of warnings and citations; as well as impounding animals when required.
