Building Maintenance Specialist job in Bothell

The City of Bothell is seeking a hardworking person who can help modify and maintain City buildings to be the next Building Maintenance Specialist in our Public Works – Facilities Department. Under the supervision from the Fleet and Facilities Manager and in cooperation with the Lead Building Maintenance Specialist, this position is responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing building maintenance problems in adherence to quality standards, safety regulations and City of Bothell procedures.

In addition to the minimum qualifications and license requirements listed in the job description, the ideal candidate will possess the preferred criteria listed below:

• Associate's Degree in a related field AND three (3) years of journey level experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Good computer experience – Experience with building automations systems, and asset management software is a plus
• Diverse building trades experience (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, commercial HVAC systems, etc.)
