Accounting Assistant job in Cathlamet

HELP WANTED: TOWN OF CATHLAMET: The Town of Cathlamet is accepting applications for the position of Accounting Assistant at Town Hall. This is a full-time position, with benefits, $20.28-$22.94 DOE. This position will provide support for and report to the Clerk/Treasurer. Duties include processing accounts payable, performing reconciliations, research, and other tasks as assigned. Candidate will be cross-trained to perform the duties of the Deputy Clerk, including customer service, processing utility billings, cashiering, and more. Proficiency in Excel and Word are required. An attention to detail and a high degree of work accuracy are essential. Familiarity with BARS coding is desirable. All employees must pass a background check. Application deadline June 14, 2019.
