The City of Puyallup is accepting applications for its Water Pollution Control Plant Manager position. This is an open continuous job posting with a priority application date of April 14, 2020. This is an experienced managerial and technical position at Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) within the City's Public Works Department. In addition to management skills, this position requires specialized knowledge of the technology, practices, and methods of wastewater treatment plant operation and maintenance. It also requires knowledge of fundamental wastewater engineering principles, specialized wastewater equipment and applications, and an ability to troubleshoot process and equipment problems. The City of Puyallup is situated at the foot of Mount Rainier, just east of Tacoma and about 45 minutes south of Seattle. The city has gained prominence as a regional commercial and service center for Pierce County and continues to serve its residents and neighbors with a strong, diversified economy. With a population of approximately 41,000, the city and surrounding area offer an array of recreational and community events that make Puyallup a vibrant place to live, work and play. Salary is $88,008 - $112,656 Annually.
