City Clerk job in Ellensburg

The City of Ellensburg is accepting application for a City Clerk. Will provide a variety of routine and complex clerical and administration work assisting in the administration of city government. Serve as custodian of official city records and public documents; official recorder of all city council meetings; coordinate legislative actions with other departments and agencies; be first contact for public and other government officials.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday. City Council meetings take place in the evening and attendance is required.

Salary: $4,485 - $5,980/month plus excellent benefits

Qualifications:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two‑year college or technical school; two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with governmental entity is desirable.

Must be bondable

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Notary public certification within six months; Municipal clerk's certification within four years; First aid and CPR certification preferred
