The Port of Tacoma is searching for a Director, Information Technology with an ability to bring an agile and innovative approach to technology and process improvement opportunities to providing senior strategic leadership and direction in the areas of Information Technology, IT Project Management and Business Process Improvement. This position oversees the day-to-day operations of the enterprise applications, IT infrastructure, network services, cyber-security, business process analysis and IT Steering Committee process that are critical to very diverse operations and business functions for the Port of Tacoma and NWSA. Minimum qualifications for the position are a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Administration, Information Technology or related field. Minimum of eight (8) years of senior-level management and leadership experience in at least one or more of the general administrative areas of Information Technology. Must have experience in managing multiple divisions and/or departments. Previous Port, public agency and/or logistics/marine industry experience is preferred. | |
