Description

The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency seeks a regular full-time Computer Systems Analyst / .Net Developer to design and develop .Net Windows and web applications and who enjoys interacting with end users. The person in this role is responsible for the end-to-end development lifecycle: from business requirements gathering, design and development, to delivering the final product to the business unit.

The work focuses on development of new responsive web applications, to replace existing legacy applications, and support of services and activities. Throughout the scope of this work, this position will work with other software developers as well as staff members, who are subject matter experts providing business specifications, and will be the users of the applications.

Have proficiency with a modern Object Oriented programming language and framework, preferably C#/.NET Framework (v.4.5 or newer); Integrated Development Environment, preferably Visual Studio 2012 or newer; database technologies, preferably Microsoft SQL 2012 or newer; developing applications using a Model View Controller (MVC) and/or Model/View/View Model (MVVM) design patterns; source code control using Microsoft Team Foundation Server (desired); and Agile software development practices. Communicate effectively, orally and in writing to gather information and organize it in a clear and concise manner.

Other desired required experience, skills and abilities, but not required to start: Software delivery lifecycle and program management experience; ability to apply environmental justice and equity principles to technology work; work and communicate effectively in a team environment to facilitate learning and collaboration.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Candidates may have any combination of education and experience which provides the knowledge, skills, and ability to effectively and completely perform the job:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science; or, Certificate of completion from a recognized Technical School; or proven relevant experience.

Minimum of 2 years’ academic or professional experience in a software development role using object oriented programming.

ANNUALIZED SALARY: $75,384 - $101,040 (Union Grade V, Step A-G), depending on skills and experience
