The Program Coordinator will work in the Nursing Program Administrative office and the Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) office in Bremerton. The Program Coordinator position is versatile and handles a wide range of duties from accurate data analysis and entry, answering student questions about the Nursing Programs, and providing information sessions for the NAC program. The Program Coordinator will assist with collaborating with multiple complex health care agencies requiring different student documentation for clinical placements and meeting the requirements for the Department of Health (DOH), Accrediting Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission (NCQAC) and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Evaluation (CCNE).
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of increasing responsibilities in an administrative, office or related experience in a medical office.
- Intermediate computer proficiency, Microsoft Office preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialized knowledge regarding health care agency documentation for student clinical placement.
- Experience in a nursing office.
- Experience working in a community college.
