Under the direction of the Information Technology Manager, this position is responsible for providing support of computer systems and related technologies. This is a technical position that assists in the planning, coordination, implementation, maintenance, and operation of Valley Regional Fire Authority’s computer hardware, software, network, and related technologies. This position serves as the point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance. Associates Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field and three (3) years of experience in information systems or related field OR a combination of experience, education, and training that would indicate the level of skills, knowledge, and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the job. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (2003+) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (Server Infrastructure) preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field is desirable.
