MECHANIC job in Pasco

DUTIES: Performs skilled mechanical tasks in the diagnosis of malfunctions, preventative maintenance, repairs, modifications, and overhaul of diesel and gasoline-powered City vehicles and equipment. Responsible for maintaining vehicles and equipment in a safe and operating condition. Produces quality workmanship when completing maintenance tasks and completes them in a safe and timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS - (Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the job.):

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Two (2) years of training in automotive technology
• Four (4) years of mechanical repair experience with gasoline or diesel equipment
• Completion of trade school and Automotive Service Excellence mechanical certification preferable

SALARY: $26.53 - $29.29/hr.
